     Questions? We've got answers

1. Do I have to wait for my current policy(ies) to expire to participate in The Group Auto & Home Insurance Program?
No, have your current policy(ies) available when you call. You can compare your current rates and coverage with those provided by the participating insurance
companies. If you decide to switch from your current provider, be sure to contact your current insurer or agent for the terms of a premium refund.
2. If I already use Liberty Mutual, Travelers or MetLife Auto & Home® for auto and/or home coverage, may I still get the Idearc discount?
Yes. Call 888-231-4044, choose your carrier on the voice response system, and tell the insurance consultant that you are a current policyholder and an employee or retiree of Idearc. You can take advantage of group discounts and payroll deduction (employees only).
3. May I receive insurance quotes from all three companies?
Yes. You can call 888-231-4044 or any time and receive quotes from the carrier(s) you choose. Keep in mind, carriers cannot transfer calls; you will need to contact each carrier separately.
4. May I cancel my policy at any time?
Yes. You may cancel your policy(ies) at any time. Before you cancel, please make sure that you have adequate coverage to replace your existing policy(ies).
5. When shopping for a new car or new home, may I request multiple quotes to determine the insurance costs before my purchase?
Yes. The insurance consultants will provide as many quotes as you need to determine the total cost of your premium on your potential new car or home.
6. Must I buy both my auto and home policy(ies) from the same carrier?
No. You may buy your auto coverage from one carrier and your home coverage from another. However, all three carriers offer multi-policy discounts. Please inquire about these discounts when you call to compare.
7. What are my premium payment options?
Employees can pay their premiums through payroll deduction, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or direct bill. Retirees can pay through EFT or direct bill.
8. If I leave Idearc, what happens to my coverage?
If you terminate/resign your employment with Idearc, you may continue your coverage with each carrier on a direct-bill basis. However, you may lose the program discounts once you terminate employment. Contact your carrier to discuss further.
9. If I have a claim, what do I do?

The carrier with whom you have coverage will provide you with their toll-free claims service number to call in the event of a claim. Each carrier has 24-hour,
7-day-a-week claims service.
